I am a writer and theatre maker.
In 2024 my play, 'In a Key of Her Own' was produced at the Taking the Stage Festival (by The Plays the Thing theatre company) a theatre festival dedicated to female playwrights and theatre makers. The play juxtaposes the life of Fanny Mendelssohn - the talented and for too long overlooked sister of Felix Mendelssohn - with a student's successful mission in 2016 to get the first woman composer added to the Edexcel Music A-Level syllabus.

My new play 'The History of Animals' was part of Omnibus Theatre's Engine Room development scheme.

I set up the distilled writers collective. We are a group of ten female playwrights with the aim of putting plays by older women on stage.
Our next show 'Wait ... Who the Fu@&K am I Now?' is in April 2025.

My work has been developed with the Sphinx Theatre's 30 Writers' Development Initiative and the Criterion Theatre Writing Development Scheme. My plays have also been supported by Arts Council England.

I have had plays produced at Theatre503, Southwark Playhouse, Arcola Theatre, Kings Head Theatre, JW3 and the Manchester Jewish Museum. I've been long-listed for the Old Vic12 and shortlisted numerous times for BBC Drama Writersroom.

As artistic director of my theatre company, Little Pieces of Gold, from 2010-2021, I produced over 400 short plays from emerging, established and award winning writers. I continue to work in a freelance producing/assistant producing capacity and am currently working on 'Moderation' (produced by Over Here Theatre Company) at the Hope Theatre (19 March - 5 April 2025)

I am the editor of Short Plays with Great Roles for Women, an anthology of 22 short plays by female playwrights published by Routledge.

I am represented by the Knight Hall Agency.
